The tree structures of the 2 new aviaries of Bois-de-la-Bâtie reveal both structural effectiveness and poetry in dialogue with the surrounding landscape. According to the structural principles developed by Antonio Gaudi and Frei Otto, each of the sixteen pillars is unique, creating a precise and fragile static balance, cut and assembled in a workshop using numerical control machines.
